I understand the ‘negative’ approach can work, but this pitch makes him sound like a supercilious ***. Dealing with copious amounts of ‘spam’ and unsolicited email is a way of life now – no different to any other form of direct marketing.
Email is still probably the best channel for legitimate businesses to promote services and products etc, if done with best-practice in mind.
